Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Role Description

  • The Human Resources Manager will oversee end-to-end HR operations to support a growing Edutech-focused workforce. This contract role, based in Kano, follows a hybrid model, combining on-site presence with some work-from-home flexibility.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining HR policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and internal standards.
  • The role will handle employee relations, performance management cycles, and disciplinary processes in a fair and transparent manner.
  • The Human Resources Manager will also coordinate training and development initiatives, support leadership in workforce planning, and contribute to building an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance culture aligned with Conclase’s mission.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with a minimum of 2 years experience
  • Proven experience in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices applicable in Nigeria, with the ability to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated skills in communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and stakeholder management across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to design and support training, learning, and development programs that build capabilities in a fast-paced, tech-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS tools, basic data analysis, and reporting to support data-driven HR decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work setting.
  • Experience in recruiting is a must
  • Experience working with or supporting tech or tech-enabled teams is a strong plus.
