Job Title: Creative Writing Teacher

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a passionate Creative Writing Teacher to inspire students to develop strong writing and storytelling skills, encourage creative thinking, and foster a love for literature and storytelling across various age groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging creative writing lessons
• Teach various writing forms including fiction, poetry, drama, and essays
• Inspire students to express themselves clearly and creatively
• Organize writing workshops, competitions, and literary clubs
• Provide constructive feedback on students’ work
• Integrate modern teaching techniques and digital tools where appropriate
• Help students prepare for internal and external assessments (if applicable)
• Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the school’s English curriculum.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Creative Writing, Literature, or related fields
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
• Proven ability to inspire and engage students
• Familiarity with Nigerian and international curricula is an advantage
• Teaching certification or TRCN registration is a plus.
