Aboutthe Role

  • AEC Group invites ambitious young Civil Engineers at the start of their careers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience across bridge, highway, and general civil engineering projects, including design support and assisting with construction supervision on site, within a structured mentoring and development programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers with design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Support site investigations, surveys, inspections, and data collection.
  • Assist with the supervision and monitoring of construction works on site under the direction of senior engineers.
  • Lear and apply relevant design codes, software, and engineering procedures.
  • Contribute to project deliverables under supervision and to agreed deadlines.
  • Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and continuous learning activities.
  • Carry out research and assist with reports, specifications, and quantity take-offs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (minimum Second Class).
  • 0-3 years' experience; recent graduates and NYSC members/completers are encouraged to apply.
  • Eligibility to register with COREN and to pursue NSE membership.
  • Basic working knowledge of engineering software (e.g.AutoCAD) is an advantage.
  • Exposure to or capacity to work within a BIM (Building Information Modelling) framework is an advantage.
