We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrician

Location: Nigeria

Purpose

  • To provide safe, reliable, and efficient electrical support by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring maximum fleet workshop productivity and minimal equipment downtime.

The Job 

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and workshop facilities.
  • Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing and diagnostic tools.
  • Repair or replace faulty wiring, electrical components, control systems, and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
  • Investigate and resolve power failures, short circuits, and electrical malfunctions.
  • Test and inspect electrical installations and repairs to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Install and maintain electrical systems in accordance with approved specifications and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with workshop personnel and other maintenance teams to support efficient fleet operations.

Qualification

  • Minimum of five (5) O'Level credits including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical maintenance, repairs, or industrial/fleet workshop operations.
  • Experience working with electrical systems in automotive, transport, manufacturing, or industrial environments will be an added advantage.

The Person Must​:​

  • Possess strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults efficiently and safely.
  • Be able to read and interpret electrical diagrams, technical manuals, and specifications.
  • Have a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.
