We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Nursing Educator

Location: Warri, Delta

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Nurse Educator to join our academic team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing education, mentoring students, supporting curriculum development, and contributing to the overall academic excellence of the institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective classroom, laboratory, and simulation-based instruction.
  • Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, examinations, and assessment tools.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide academic support and mentorship.
  • Participate in curriculum review, development, and accreditation activities.
  • Maintain accurate academic records and student assessments.
  • Integrate evidence-based practice into teaching methodologies.
  • Supervise student projects, assignments, and research activities.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to improve educational outcomes.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and institutional activities.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative teaching and learning strategies.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and scholarly activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM),with current practicing license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science (B.N.Sc.) is required.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, Public Health, or a related discipline is an advantage.
  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant teaching and/or clinical experience.
  • Strong understanding of nursing education standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and learning technologies.
