About the Role
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Supervisor to join our Projects & Technical Services team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating construction chemical application projects, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
- The role requires hands-on experience in managing site operations involving waterproofing, industrial flooring, concrete repair, protective coatings, grouting, sealants, and other specialty construction chemical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations and project execution activities.
- Ensure proper application of construction chemical products in accordance with technical specifications and approved method statements.
- Coordinate project resources including manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with company and client standards.
- Verify surface preparation, application procedures, and material consumption rates.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Manage contractors, applicators, and site personnel to achieve project objectives.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
- Conduct site measurements and support project billing and valuation activities.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or HND qualificatiom in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 5–7years of experience in project supervision within the construction, engineering, or construction chemicals industry.
- Practical experience in one or more of the following:
- Waterproofing systems.
- Industrial flooring systems.
- Concrete repair and strengthening.
- Protective coatings.
- Grouting and anchoring systems.
- Sealants and joint treatment systems.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of construction chemical products and application procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Project planning and coordination skills.
- Material estimation and reconciliation experience.
Behavioral Competencies:
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
