Job Summary

• The Technical Designer is responsible for translating conceptual architectural and interior design ideas into detailed technical drawings and construction documentation for workspace, commercial, and interior fit-out projects.
• The role ensures that all designs are technically sound, buildable, compliant with applicable standards, and aligned with project requirements, budgets, and timelines.

Job Description

• Produce detailed architectural and interior working drawings for workspace and fit-out projects.
• Prepare floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
• Develop furniture and joinery shop drawings for custom-made furniture and fittings.
• Prepare partition layouts, ceiling layouts, flooring layouts, and door schedules.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, coordinated, and issued according to project timelines.
• Translate conceptual designs into technical and construction-ready drawings.
•  Develop detailed design packages including: Drawings, Construction details, Interior detailing, Furniture detailing, Finishing schedules, Material specifications. 
• Ensure all design documents comply with company standards and project specifications
• Optimize space utilization while maintaining aesthetics and functionality.
• Ensure designs meet ergonomic and workplace standards.
• Collaborate closely with Architects, Interior Designers, and 3D Visualizers to ensure design intent is accurately translated into technical drawings.
• Provide technical support to Project Managers and Site Teams during project execution.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and monitor design implementation.

Requirements

• Attach a detailed Portfolio via email 
• Minimum of 4–6 years relevant experience in:
  • Architectural design
  • Workspace and office fit-out projects
  • Interior detailing
  • Construction documentation
  • Furniture and joinery detailing
• Experience in an architectural or workspace design company is highly preferred technical Skills

Architectural and Design Software

• AutoCAD (Advanced proficiency)
• Revit
• SketchUp
• ArchiCAD (Added advantage)
• 3ds Max (Basic understanding)
• Lumion or Enscape (Added advantage).
