Job Title: SAP Analyst - Fleet Operations

Job Summary
- The Fleet Analyst is responsible for supporting fleet operations through accurate SAP transaction processing, data management, reporting, analytics, and compliance monitoring.
- The role ensures timely and accurate recording of fleet-related activities, provides actionable insights through data analysis, and supports cost control, asset utilization, and operational efficiency across the fleet.
Job Details
SAP & Transaction Management:
- Create and maintain fleet-related master data in SAP.
- Process and monitor fleet purchase requisitions (PRs), purchase orders (POs), service entries, goods receipts, and invoice verification activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate SAP posting of fleet expenses including fuel, maintenance, tyres, repairs, tolls, permits, and vehicle registrations.
- Track and resolve SAP transaction issues in collaboration with Procurement, Finance, and IT teams.
- Support month-end closing activities by ensuring fleet-related transactions are complete and accurate.
Fleet Data & Analytics:
- Maintain accurate fleet databases and records.
- Develop and publish weekly and monthly fleet performance reports.
- Analyse fleet operating costs and identify savings opportunities.
- Monitor vehicle utilization, downtime, maintenance costs, fuel consumption, and route efficiency.
- Conduct variance analysis against budgets and operational targets.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve fleet performance and cost efficiency.
Reporting & KPI Management:
- Produce regular dashboards covering: Fleet availability, Vehicle utilization, Fuel consumption, Maintenance spend, Breakdown frequency, Driver performance, GPS compliance, Cost per kilometer, Fleet operating costs versus budget etc.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all fleet reporting.
Compliance & Controls:
- Maintain documentation related to vehicle licenses, insurance, permits, inspections, and certifications.
- Support fleet audits and internal control reviews.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and fleet management procedures.
- Monitor adherence to approval workflows and spending controls.
Stakeholder Support:
- Work closely with Fleet Operations, Procurement, Finance, IT, SAP, Logistics, and Supply
- Chain teams.
- Support the Fleet Manager with analysis required for decision-making.
- Assist in preparation of business cases for fleet investments, vehicle replacements, and cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in fleet operations, logistics analytics, supply chain, finance operations, or similar analytical role.
- Experience working with SAP ERP systems is required.
- Experience in fleet management or transportation operations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of operational and financial reporting
- Knowledge of GPS and fleet management systems is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Power BI or other reporting tools
