We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

Job Summary

  • The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) is a strategic business leader and key advisor to the Managing Director and the Board, responsible for providing overall financial stewardship, strategic insight, and governance across the organization.
  • The role drives financial performance, ensures robust financial controls and compliance, and supports sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
  • The CFO has oversight of financial planning, budgeting, accounting, reporting, treasury, taxation, risk management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring sound financial decision-making and operational efficiency across the business.

Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial Leadership:

  • Provide strategic financial leadership to support business objectives, growth initiatives, and long-term sustainability.
  • Partner with the Managing Director and the Board Finance Committee on financial strategy, investment decisions, and risk assessment.
  • Lead long-term financial planning, capital allocation, and performance optimization initiatives.

Financial Management & Reporting:

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate, timely financial statements in line with IFRS and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure strong internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance frameworks.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing actionable insights to management and the Board.
  • Present clear financial reports, dashboards, and recommendations to the Managing Director and the Board Finance committee.

Treasury, Risk & Compliance:

  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure financial stability.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
  • Maintain effective relationships with banks, auditors, regulators, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Ensure full compliance with tax, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.

Audit, Governance & Ethics:

  • Oversee internal and external audit processes, ensuring transparency, accountability, and regulatory adherence.
  • Promote a strong culture of financial integrity, discipline, and ethical conduct across the organization.

People & Stakeholder Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team to achieve high performance and professional excellence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial objectives with operational and strategic priorities.
  • Proven ability to multitask while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Requirements

  • 15-20 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a CFO capacity, preferably in a manufacturing company.
