Job Title: In-process Officer

Main Responsibilities
- Monitoring and inspection of production processes at all stages of production.
- To prepare the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and reports on process control activities.
- Monitor and assess product quality by inspecting manufacturing and packaging operations, batch documents, and provide advice during manufacturing operations.
- Inspecting production areas to make sure they are cleaned, sanitised, and free from material or residues from previous batch production.
- Carry out sampling of intermediate/bulk products and finished products
- Collection of retention samples from production. Reconciliation and transfer of the retained samples to the retention sample room, ensuring they are stored until their shelf life has expired.
- Routine water sampling for production activities.
- Performing immediate products integrity test, for hardness, weight, seal leakage etc.
- Ensuring that the required process metrics are met and strictly adhered to during production.
- Reviewing and verifying batch manufacturing records, to ensure accuracy.
Requirements
Professional requirements (minimum):
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND
- Preferred- B. Pharm, BSc/HND (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Science Laboratory Technology {Chemistry or Microbiology major} )
- Experience required: 1-3 years (pharmaceutical industry preferred)
Language required (minimum):
- English
- Igbo also recommended because of region
Software knowledge required (minimum):
- Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides
- OR equivalents (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint etc.)
