We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: CNC Operator

Location: Isolo, Oshodi - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities
Machine Setup and Operation:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including routers, lathes, and milling machines.
  • Load raw materials (wood, plywood, MDF, etc.) into CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment.
  • Input program codes for cutting, drilling, engraving, and other machining operations.
  • Monitor machine performance to ensure efficient and accurate production.

Blueprint and Design Interpretation:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files.
  • Adjust machine settings to meet design specifications and dimensional requirements.

Machine Maintenance:

  • Carry out basic machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of machine components.
  • Report equipment faults and breakdowns to the maintenance team.

Quality Control:

  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.
  • Use measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges to verify product accuracy.
  • Make machine adjustments where necessary to maintain quality standards.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure machines and tools are properly calibrated and maintained.

Inventory and Material Management:

  • Maintain an organized work area and monitor raw material usage.
  • Report material shortages to the appropriate personnel.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with designers, engineers, and supervisors to achieve production targets.
  • Communicate machine performance issues and production updates effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating CNC machinery.
  • Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety standards.

Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 per month.
