Job Title: Marketing Officer

Location: Iyana - Ipaja, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking proactive and result-oriented Marketing Officers to drive sales and expand our customer base in the polythene manufacturing industry.
• The ideal candidates will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing customers, promoting the company's products, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for the company's polythene products.
• Market and promote products including nylon bags, shopping bags, packaging materials, shrink films, and other polythene products.
• Generate leads through field marketing, referrals, cold calling, and digital channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and corporate customers.
• Conduct regular market surveys to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Follow up on customer inquiries, quotations, and orders to ensure timely conversion to sales.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with the production and operations teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled efficiently.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market intelligence.
• Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and business development events when required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Monthly sales revenue achieved.
• Number of new customers acquired.
• Customer retention rate.
• Conversion rate of leads to sales.
• Achievement of assigned sales targets.

Requirements

• OND / HND / B.Sc. Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field.
• 1 – 3 years of marketing or sales experience, preferably in manufacturing, packaging, FMCG, or related industries.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and close sales effectively.
• Good knowledge of Lagos markets and industrial / commercial areas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Self - motivated, target - driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be willing to travel for client visits and business development activities.

Compensation & Benefits

• Basic Salary: N80,000 – N120,000 per month.
• Sales Commission: Earn commission on every confirmed sale generated.
