Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team in an agrochemical manufacturing environment.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory analyses, ensuring product quality compliance, monitoring production quality standards, and maintaining accurate documentation.
• The ideal candidate must possess hands-on experience with High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and be willing to relocate to the Lekki Free Zone axis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing and analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished agrochemical products.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment, particularly High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) systems.
• Conduct chemical and physical analyses in accordance with approved testing methods and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis (COA) and maintain accurate laboratory records.
• Investigate non-conforming products and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ISO standards, safety procedures, and company quality policies.
• Participate in internal audits, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory inspections.
• Review laboratory results and provide timely reports to management.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory reagents, chemicals, and consumables.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.

Experience:

• 3 - 5 years' experience in Quality Control within the agrochemical, chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
• Proven hands-on experience operating and interpreting results from High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) equipment.
• Experience with other analytical instruments such as GC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, or FTIR is an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of analytical testing methods and quality control procedures.
• Ability to analyze laboratory data and prepare technical reports.
• Good understanding of ISO quality management systems and laboratory best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and laboratory documentation systems.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience in agrochemical or chemical manufacturing environments will be highly preferred.
