Job Title: Livestock Supervisor

Job Summary
- The Livestock Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily management, welfare, health, and productivity of all livestock on the farm.
- The role involves supervising livestock attendants, ensuring compliance with farm policies and biosecurity measures, monitoring animal health, maintaining production records, and implementing best practices to achieve optimal livestock performance and profitability.

Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma, HND, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Animal Science, Animal Production, Veterinary Technology, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Must have 3–5 years of practical experience in livestock management.
- Experience in poultry, fisheries, snail farming, cattle, sheep, goats, or other livestock operations is an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of livestock management practices.
- Ability to identify common livestock diseases and health issues.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent record-keeping and reporting abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
