Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Ojota, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to help stakeholders make informed business decisions.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to monitor key business metrics.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Generate actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and business objectives.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to support operational and management decisions.
• Monitor data quality and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Present findings and insights to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Support the development and implementation of data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3 - 6 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data cleaning, and statistical analysis techniques.
• Experience working with large datasets and databases.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in fintech, agritech, financial services, or technology-driven organizations.
• Familiarity with predictive analytics and business intelligence frameworks.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
