Job Title: Solar Installer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar power systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
• The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety procedures, and renewable energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Install solar panels, inverters, batteries, mounting structures, and related equipment.
• Conduct site assessments and prepare installation plans.
• Perform electrical wiring and connections according to safety standards and regulations.
• Test and commission solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in solar power systems.
• Carry out routine maintenance and system inspections.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate installation and service records.
• Educate customers on the operation and maintenance of their solar systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to complete installations efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND, Trade Test Certificate, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in solar installation, electrical work, or renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and electrical standards.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights when required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 / month.
