We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Optometrist

Locations: Lekki - Lagos and Uyo - Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Diagnose refractive errors and prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Detect, diagnose, and manage common eye diseases and visual disorders.
• Identify patients requiring specialist ophthalmic care and make appropriate referrals.
• Interpret diagnostic test results, including visual field tests, OCT scans, and retinal imaging.
• Prescribe medications within the scope of professional practice.
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
• Follow up with patients to monitor treatment outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists, nurses, opticians, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, infection prevention standards, and regulatory requirements.
