Job Title: Social Media Manager & Content Creator Intern

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Internship (12 Months)

Role Summary

  • Data-Lead Africa is seeking a creative, proactive, and enthusiastic Social Media Manager & Content Creator Intern to support our digital marketing efforts.
  • The successful candidate will help create engaging content, manage social media platforms, and contribute to growing our online community.
  • This internship offers practical experience in content creation, social media management, digital marketing, and brand communication.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:

  • Design engaging graphics and visual content for social media.
  • Create and edit short-form videos, reels, and stories.
  • Write compelling captions and social media copy.
  • Develop content aligned with Data-Lead Africa's brand and programs.

Social Media Management:

  • Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
  • Monitor engagement and interact with followers professionally.
  • Identify emerging social media trends and content opportunities.
  • Support community growth and audience engagement initiatives.

Marketing & Communications Support:

  • Assist with promoting training programs, events, and workshops.
  • Support social media campaigns and digital marketing activities.
  • Conduct competitor and industry research.
  • Contribute ideas to improve online visibility and engagement.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience managing personal, school, volunteer, or business social media accounts is an advantage.
