We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fleet Supervisor

Location: Idu, Abuja (FCT)

About the Role

  • The fleet supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of Cemmax’s vehicle fleet, ensuring that vehicles are road-ready, drivers comply with safety and operational requirements, deliveries are tracked and coordinated efficiently, and fleet activities are properly maintained and reported.
  • The role serves as the main point of contact for drivers and is critical to achieving safe, timely, and efficient delivery operations across all project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily driver briefings and assign delivery schedules.
  • Perform pre-departure vehicle inspections and ensure roadworthiness.
  • Verify driver licenses, fitness for duty, and PPE compliance.
  • Monitor and track fleet movements in real time.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and manage truck loading priorities.
  • Supervise site coordination activities and ensure delivery confirmations are properly documented.
  • Investigate and escalate delivery issues, delays, and customer complaints.
  • Coordinate scheduled vehicle maintenance and respond to breakdown incidents.
  • Oversee fuel usage, consumption records, and fuel store.
  • Ensure proper vehicle cleaning and drum washing procedure are followed.
  • Maintain accurate fleet records and prepare daily operations report.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Transport Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in fleet management, transportation, logistics, or a similar operational role.
  • Experience supervising drivers and managing vehicle fleets.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle safety standards, fleet operations, and maintenance coordination.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet tracking/reporting systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and make timely decisions.
