Lazeto Hotels is a newly established four star hotel located in the Zango area of Kogi, Lokoja Nigeria.The hotel boasts 11 elegantly designed rooms,a roof top bar, restuarant,gym,swimming pool,fish pond.Strategically positioned to cater to business travellers,tourists and locals.Lazeto hotels aims to provide exceptional hospitality services in the confluence city.

Job Title: Hotel Cook

Location: Zango, Kogi

Job Summary

• We are looking for a skilled, passionate, and reliable Cook to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring an excellent dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to the hotel’s recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage.
• Minimize food waste and manage kitchen inventory efficiently.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC qualification.
• Proven experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, or similar establishment.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and kitchen safety practices.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Applicants must reside within or around the Zango area.
