Role Overview
- We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Store Officer to manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of inventory while ensuring accurate stock records and efficient store operations.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting stock control activities, and ensuring that materials and products are properly handled and safeguarded at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and record incoming goods and materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of inventory for easy identification and accessibility.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
- Conduct routine stock counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and promptly report low stock levels or discrepancies.
- Issue materials and products to authorized personnel while maintaining proper documentation.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment.
- Prepare periodic inventory and stock movement reports.
- Support internal audits and stock verification exercises as required.
Key Requirements
- B.Sc., HND, or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Female candiates are preferred.
