Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function for a reputable engineering and construction company.
  • The successful candidate will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, learning and development, and HR strategy to support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent management activities.
  • Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and company policies.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide strategic HR support to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the engineering, construction, or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS.
