Job Summary
- The Carpenter will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and finishing high-quality luxury furniture pieces according to design specifications, ensuring precision, durability, and premium finishing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct and assemble bespoke furniture pieces based on approved designs and drawings.
- Interpret technical drawings and measurements accurately.
- Cut, shape, and finish wood and related materials to luxury standards.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Install fittings, veneers, laminates, and decorative finishes.
- Conduct repairs and modifications on high-end furniture.
- Maintain workshop tools and ensure cleanliness of the work area.
- Collaborate with designers and production teams to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in carpentry.
- Mandatory experience working with a luxury furniture company.
- Strong knowledge of hardwoods, veneers, laminates, and premium finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.
