We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Audit Lead

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Audit Executive (CAE) in developing and implementing the annual risk-based internal audit plan.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute operational and IT internal audit engagements in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership and guidance to internal auditors and third-party audit teams in defining audit scope, objectives, and procedures.
• Conduct detailed audit planning and risk assessments to identify key business risks and prioritize high-risk areas.
• Ensure audit procedures, testing, and documentation are performed effectively in line with the organization's internal audit methodology.
• Prepare and present clear audit findings and recommendations to management, ensuring timely issuance of audit reports.
• Monitor and follow up on the implementation of agreed audit recommendations and maintain a comprehensive audit findings database.
• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's enterprise risk management framework.
• Oversee risk management processes, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and monitoring activities.
• Ensure compliance of the internal audit function with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and corporate governance requirements

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Accounting or related Social Science discipline.
• Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) etc.
• Must be comfortable with leading-edge Internal audit and risk assessment methodologies.
• An MBA or equivalent masters degree will be an added advantage.

Work experience:

• At least 8 of years of relevant experience.
• Experience with any of the big 4 Audit firms is an added advantage.

Salary
N800,000 - N1,500,000 per month.
