Job Title: Business Development & Partnerships Officer
Location: Northeast & Northwest - Borno
Employment Type: Full-time
Specific Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by engaging organizations that can benefit from the company's ERP solution.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including business owners, HR managers, school administrators, and organizational leaders.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and meetings to showcase the benefits of the ERP platform and convert prospects into subscribers.
- Develop partnership opportunities that increase market reach, generate referrals, and support business growth.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline, follow up on prospects, prepare regular business development reports, and achieve monthly and quarterly subscription targets.
- Represent the company at business events, networking forums, exhibitions, and stakeholder meetings to promote the ERP solution and generate qualified leads.
Key Performance Indicators
- Number of new subscribers acquired.
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly business development targets.
Required Qualification, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in business development, sales, partnerships, marketing, or account management.
- Existing networks within NGOs, institutions, or businesses in Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, Bauchi, Taraba, or other Northeast/Northwest states is a plus
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing strategic partnerships that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage stakeholder relationships at multiple levels.
- Experience working with ERP systems and partnership management tools is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales or business development targets.
- Strong understanding of business development, customer acquisition, and market expansion strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while working effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience working in a startup, technology company, social enterprise, or growth-focused organization is an added advantage.
Required Languages:
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in additional local languages is an added advantage.
