Job Title: Inventory Officer

Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• We’re hiring an Inventory Officer to maintain accurate stock levels, prevent losses, and ensure smooth flow of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in our warehouse.
• You’ll be key to keeping our beauty, hair, and hygiene products available for sales without overstocking or stockouts.

Key Responsibilities
Stock Control & Reconciliation:

• Receive, verify, and record all incoming raw materials, packaging, and finished goodsConduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and investigate variances

Warehouse Management:

• Ensure proper storage, labeling, FIFO/FEFO rotation, and safe handling of beauty/hygiene SKUs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and NAFDAC-compliant warehouse

Documentation & Reporting:

• Update inventory records on ERP/Excel in real-time: receipts, issues, transfers, returns
• Prepare stock status reports, aging reports, and highlight slow-moving/expiring items

Issuance & Coordination:

• Issue materials to production and finished goods to dispatch based on approved requests
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Logistics to prevent stockouts

Loss Prevention:

• Monitor for damage, expiry, pilferage, or discrepancies and report promptly
• Support cycle counts and annual stock-take exercises

Compliance:

• Ensure proper batch traceability, expiry tracking, and documentation for audits

Requirements

• Education: HND / BSc in Supply Chain, Business Admin, or related field. OND with relevant experience may be considered
• Experience: 2 - 4 years as Inventory Officer/Storekeeper/Warehouse Officer in FMCG, cosmetics, pharma, or retail. Beauty/hair products experience is an advantage
• Skills: Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel + ERP/WMS systems e.g. SAP Business One, Odoo, Zoho
• Knowledge: Understanding of FIFO/FEFO, inventory accuracy, and basic GMP/warehouse safety
• Ability to work weekends during stock-take
• Attributes: Honest, organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
