Job Summary
- We are seeking a dynamic and empatheticSocial Media & Community Managerto become the digital voice of VivaFemini. You will be the bridge between our platform and the millions of women we aim to serve.
- This is not just a "post and pray" role; you will be responsible for crafting a brand voice that feels safe, sisterly, and credible, while building a vibrant, engaged, and supportive community across all our digital channels.
- You will be the primary driver of our social presence, transforming women's real questions into content and campaigns that drive trust, sign-ups, and active usage.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management & Content Strategy:
- Own the Content Calendar:Develop, manage, and execute a comprehensive content calendar across all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Telegram) and the blog.
- Content Creation:Create high-quality, engaging, and educational content, including short-form video (Reels/TikToks), carousels, infographics, and blog posts.
- Brand Storytelling:Bring the VivaFemini brand to life online. Translate complex health topics into relatable, culturally aware content that feels accessible to Nigerian and African women. Content should be warm, non-judgmental, and clinically accurate.
- Campaign Management:Plan and run digital campaigns to drive user acquisition and retention.
Community Engagement & Management:
- Build a Safe, Supportive Community:Own the day-to-day management of our community spaces. This includes monitoring conversations, moderating comments, and fostering a supportive environment where women feel safe to share and seek support.
- Drive Engagement:Proactively engage with our audience, respond to comments and DMs, and create opportunities for connection (e.g., IG Lives with clinicians, Q&A sessions, and community spotlights).
- Voice of the Customer:Act as the "ears on the ground" for the company. Gather insights from the community to inform content, product development, and customer support.
Performance & Growth:
- Drive Growth:Execute strategies to grow our social media following and community size across all platforms.
- Analytics & Reporting:Track, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including channel growth, engagement, reach, and conversion (clicks to sign-ups).
- Experimentation:Run A/B tests on creatives and copy to optimize campaign performance and community engagement.
Who You Are
- You are a digital native with a passion for social media, storytelling, and community building.
- You understand the nuances of the African digital landscape and are excited by the opportunity to use your skills to make a tangible impact on women's health.
- Experience:3-5 years of proven experience in social media management, content creation, or community management, preferably for a consumer brand or purpose-driven organisation.
- Content Creation Pro:You are a skilled content creator who can independently produce engaging videos, graphics (using tools like Canva), and copy. Your portfolio showcases your ability to tell compelling stories.
- Community-Centric:You have experience building and nurturing online communities. You are empathetic and understand how to moderate sensitive conversations with care.
- Data-Driven:You are comfortable tracking metrics and using data to inform your strategy and content decisions.
- Toolkit Knowledge:Familiarity with social media scheduling tools, analytics platforms, email marketing tools (Zoho, Mailchimp), and landing page builders (Carrd, Webflow) is a plus.
- Mission-Driven:You are deeply passionate about women's health, equality, and using your skills to drive positive social change. Experience in health, wellness, NGO, or social impact campaigns is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional Communicator:You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can adapt your tone for different platforms and audiences.

Compensation
- Base Salary: N150,000 per month
- Performance Commission:N100,000 - N200,000 per month (based on achieving key growth and engagement KPIs)
- Total On-Target Earnings (OTE):N250,000 - N350,000 per month
