Job Description

• We are looking for a Business Manager to sit at the heart of our operation.
• The candidate will own business performance, align all internal teams, translate strategy into day-to-day execution, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
• This is not a support role
• The candidate willrun the business alongside the MD.

Responsibilities

• Own the company's commercial performance dashboard — tracking revenue, volumes, and pipeline conversion against targets
• Translate the MD's strategic agenda into a prioritised execution plan with owners and deadlines
• Chair internal management meetings and hold function leads accountable to agreed KPIs
• Serve as the coordination point between BD, Operations, Compliance, and Technology
• Identify new revenue opportunities and develop the business case for pursuing them
• Review proposals, pitch decks, and commercial terms before they go to clients or partners
• Support the MD with budget management, financial reporting, and stakeholder communications

Education & Skills

• Minimum 5 years in a business management, commercial, or strategy role within financial services or fintech
• Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving measurable commercial results
• Strong analytical skills — you can build a performance dashboard, read a P&L, and spot a trend early
• Experience converting strategy into execution plans with clear milestones, owners, and accountability
• Excellent written and verbal communication — you can write a crisp board paper and present it confidently
• Experience in an early-stage or scaling fintech or payments business is a strong advantage
• High emotional intelligence — you manage upwards, sideways, and downwards with equal skill
• Familiarity with the Nigerian financial services and CBN operating environment is desirable.

Salary
N900,000 monthly.
