We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Lead

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• This role is not a support function — it is the engine room.
• You will run our client's day-to-day operations with full autonomy — managing the entire non-technical team and making decisions independently without waiting to be told what to do.
• The Growth & Community Specialist and Creator Partnerships Executive all report directly to you.
• You own the people, the finances, the compliance, and the processes. You set the pace, you spot the gaps, and you fix them. If you need constant direction, this role is not for you.

Responsibilities

• Run Titaar's day-to-day operations end-to-end — proactively identifying and solving problems before they reach the CEO.
• Directly manage the non-technical team — Growth and Partnerships report to you.
• Own the creator payout cycle completely — ensuring every creator is paid accurately and on schedule based on platform transaction data.
• Manage day-to-day financial operations — including income tracking, expense logging, and preparing clean transaction reports (Paystack/Flutterwave) for our client's external accounting firm.
• Act as the primary liaison between our client and the external financial management firm, ensuring they have all necessary data for CAC, FIRS, and VAT compliance.
• Build, document, and enforce internal SOPs so the business runs on process.
• Deliver a clean, structured monthly financial snapshot to the CEO by the 10th of each month.
• Manage payroll, HR administration, and onboarding for new team members.

How we will easure success

• On-time creator payouts with zero reconciliation errors
• Flawless reporting and data handover to the external accounting firm ensuring 100% regulatory compliance (FIRS filings, CAC renewals)
• Structured monthly financial report delivered to the CEO by the 10th of each month, covering revenue collected, creator payouts, operating expenses, and closing balance.

What We're Looking for

• 4–5 years of experience in operations, business administration, or operational finance — with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Minimum of a BSc or HND in any related field.
• Must have completed NYSC (Discharge certificate or Exemption letter required).
• Proven ability to operate autonomously — you have run a function or team without daily oversight.
• Strong financial literacy and high proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets — you must be comfortable managing large transaction datasets for creator payouts with zero errors.
• Highly organized and capable of interfacing seamlessly with an external accounting firm.
• Experience managing vendor contracts, banking relationships, and business documentation
• A natural problem-solver — you do not wait for instructions, you identify issues and act
• Strong people instincts — you can lead, motivate, and hold a small team accountable with confidence
• Experience at a startup, fintech, e-commerce, or marketplace company is a very strongadvantage
• Bonus: familiarity with Paystack or Flutterwave operations and creator payout workflows.

Salary
N500,000 - N750,000 per month.
