We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Milling Assistant
Location: Calabar, Cross River
Job Type: Full time
Purpose
- To implement all designated tasks in addition to existing job requirement for the efficient running of the mill.
The Job
- Take measurement of wheat and wheat products level in the storage silos.
- Sample and analyze of flour streams.
- Coordinate taking of chemical draw rate.
- Maintain good housekeeping & hygiene of the mill.
- Comply with QMS and FSMS requirement.
- Compliance to all Health & Safety regulations.
- Carry out essential production (breakdown and preventive) maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Documentation of process reading and quality analysis report.
The Person must
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with milling machines, including setup, operation, and basic maintenance.
- Understanding of milling tools, including types, uses, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of material handling techniques, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials
Requirements
- 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
- Technical certification would be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years cognate experience.
