We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Procurement Assistant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations for goods and services.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier information.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to meet supply needs.
- Support negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Track and report on procurement activities, including cost savings and supplier performance.
- Provide administrative support to the procurement team, including filing, documentation, and correspondence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles preferred.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
