Job Title: Technical Commercial Supervisor

Job Summary
- The Technical & Commercial Supervisor will serve as a key member of the leadership team, supporting the Managing Director in driving business growth, strengthening client relationships, improving operational performance, and ensuring successful project execution.
- The role combines technical expertise, business development, project oversight, tender management, and strategic planning to support the company’s expansion within the oil and gas sector.
- The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to management while helping identify and execute opportunities with IOCs, EPC contractors, and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Engagement:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Strengthen relationships with IOC stakeholders.
- Support account management activities.
- Conduct client visits and technical presentations.
- Develop market intelligence and competitor analysis.
- Identify emerging technologies and service opportunities.
Tendering & Proposal Management:
- Lead technical and commercial bid preparation.
- Review RFQs, ITTs, and tender documents.
- Coordinate proposal development across departments.
- Develop technical methodologies and execution plans.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements.
Technical Advisory & Solutions Development:
- Provide technical support during client engagements.
- Evaluate new technologies and products.
- Develop technical-commercial solutions.
- Engage OEMs and strategic partners.
- Recommend new service offerings.
Operations & Project Oversight:
- Support project planning and mobilization.
- Monitor project execution and performance.
- Identify operational improvement opportunities.
- Assist in resource planning and utilization.
- Support project recovery and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Ensure delivery commitments are met.
Strategic Leadership:
- Support the Managing Director in achieving growth objectives.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives.
- Develop annual business growth plans.
- Mentor junior technical and commercial personnel.
- Contribute to organizational development and process improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Petroleum, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
- MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas.
- Minimum of 5 years in technical sales, engineering, project management, operations, or business development.
- Demonstrated experience with IOCs and EPC contractors.
- Experience in tendering and proposal development.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary projects.
Salary Range
N800,000 – N1,500,000 (Net) per month.
