Job Title: Procurement and Sourcing Officer
Location: Zaria, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Procurement Manager
Job Summary
- Responsible for sourcing quality agricultural commodities, negotiating supplier agreements, and ensuring timely procurement at competitive prices.
Key Responsibilities
- Source agricultural commodities from farmers, cooperatives, and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing and supply agreements.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
- Monitor commodity market trends and pricing.
- Evaluate supplier performance.
- Prepare procurement documentation and reports.
- Ensure timely delivery of purchased commodities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Agriculture, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years' experience in procurement or sourcing.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
