Job Title: Warehouse Keeper

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Warehouse Keeper is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of goods within the warehouse.
• The role involves maintaining an organized storage area, keeping accurate inventory records, and supporting the smooth movement of products while ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and issue products according to approved requests.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movement as required.
• Conduct routine stock counts and assist with periodic inventory audits.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Arrange products systematically to maximize storage space and facilitate easy access.
• Report damaged, missing, or expired items to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required.
• Monitor stock levels and notify the supervisor when inventory requires replenishment.
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company policies and safety procedures.
• Safeguard company inventory, tools, and warehouse equipment.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of OND, or equivalent qualification.
• Previous warehouse or storekeeping experience is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management practices.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel or simple inventory systems is an advantage
