PR Manager at The Plug Global Agency

The Plug Global Agency (originally founded as The Plug Entertainment) is an award-winning, full-service entertainment, talent management, and culture agency based in Lagos, Nigeria. Co-founded in August 2016 by prominent music executives Asa Asika and Abiodun "Bizzle" Osikoya (with Tobi Mohammed joining as partner and COO in 2022), the agency acts as a primary driving force behind the global expansion of Afrobeats and African youth culture.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: PR Manager

Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

• Media & PressPitch: write press releases, handle media inquiries, secure coverage for projects, milestones and CSR.
• Brand & Reputation: Monitor public perception and manage crisis
• Ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
• Content: Develop speeches, articles, website content and client newsletters.
• Events: Plan press conferences, client appreciation events and sponsorship activations
• Reporting: Track media mentions, sentiment and campaign ROL

Requirements

• HND / BSc Degree in Mass Communication, PR, English or related field.
• 5 - 7 years PR / comms experience, preferably in the entertainment industry
• Tactful, discreet, proactive and comfortable dealing with highlevel stakeholders.
• Strong storytelling ability.
