Job Title: English / Literature-in-English Teacher

Location: Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of IGCSE and Wace curriculum content in the assigned subject area.
• Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the IGCSE and A Level curriculum.
• Teach students using a variety of effective instructional strategies to promote active learning.
• Plan engaging lessons and prepare effective learning materials.
• Assign regular classwork, homework, and assessments to evaluate students understanding.
• Monitor students progress and provide regular feedback.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Implement academic policies and the subject curriculum to ensure students receive the highest standards of education.
• Provide regular feedback to students on their performance and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, B.Ed. or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience teaching IGCSE and Waec
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Salary Range
N170,000 – N280,000 per month, depending on experience.
