Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Odongunyan, Ikorodu - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team and support inspection and quality assurance activities across fabrication and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspection activities across various stages of fabrication and manufacturing processes
  • Inspect operations including cutting, stamping, notching, bending, heel cutting, and welded assemblies
  • Maintain inspection records and daily quality reports in line with project requirements
  • Interpret shop drawings, structural drawings, welded assembly drawings, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Use measuring instruments to verify product conformity
  • Support internal/external audits and ensure compliance with ISO/IMS procedures
  • Analyze root causes of rejection/rework and implement corrective actions
  • Promote 5S methodology and maintain workplace safety standards
  • Support quality control activities across Oil & Gas, Transmission Towers, Telecom Towers, and Solar Structures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Fabrication Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
  • Knowledge of welding processes and NDT methods (VT, MPI, DPT, UT)
  • Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems is an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
