We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fleet Supervisor (Corporate Client)

Job Summary

• The job incumbent is responsible for managing drivers.
• Ensures a high level of customer service, monitors and tracks performance.
• Builds and maintains cordial relationship with existing business clients. Monitors fuel usage and maintains maintenance schedule.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensures all vehicles are in good condition and readily available for clients’ use;
• Ensures proper management and engagement of drivers;
• Schedules regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency;
• Prepares reports on parts and labour expenses;
• Ensures vehicles are used according to laid down usage rules and regulations;
• Carries out periodic checks and inspection on vehicles and drivers;
• Provides drivers with information about the company’s values and culture and ensures adherence;
• Determines the type and extent of repairs required on vehicles;
• Able to use past records to forecast maintenance and fuel requirements of vehicles;
• Schedule’s repair of parts considering time requirements and vehicle downtime;
• Maintains an automated system that notifies upcoming vehicle paper renewal;
• Tracks daily mileage at the beginning and close of business in order to monitor commute and travel;
• Provides report on monthly fuel usage;
• Ensures vehicle particulars are up to date and tracks expiration to ensure compliance with FRSC;
• Ensures drivers’ licence and other registration are up to date;
• Interfaces with clients’ representatives to get feedback on performance and identify other possible business solutions they can render;
• Advises the company on how to improve the service delivery to its clients;
• Provides recommendation on vehicles, based on usage and needs analysis.

Key Requirements
Qualifications:

• HND or a Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation and Logistics from a reputable and accredited institution.
• Must have undergone a relevant course in fleet management, preferably with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (Nigeria).

Work Experience:

• 1-3 years of work experience in a similar role.

Technical Knowledge Area:

• Proficiency in the use of Fleet management software.
• Ability to drive in a professional manner.
• Knowledge of road network.
• Basic technical knowledge of cars.
