Job Summary
- We are seeking energetic, target-driven, and customer-focused Open Market Sales Representatives (OMSRs) to drive sales and market penetration for our range of dry hair products within assigned territories.
- The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience selling hair extensions, wigs, braids, or other dry hair products through the open market and possess strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and beauty stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of dry hair products within the assigned territory to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, beauty supply stores, and key customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned market.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising across all assigned outlets.
- Execute route plans and conduct regular market visits to maximize sales coverage.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends, providing timely market intelligence.
- Collect customer feedback and recommend strategies to improve sales performance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Ensure timely collection of payments where applicable.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years' proven sales experience in dry hair products (hair extensions, braids, wigs, or related beauty products).
- Strong knowledge of the open market sales environment.
- Existing relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and beauty stores will be an added advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Good knowledge of the assigned territory (Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti, or Kwara).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an added advantage.
