Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC | MEP-BIM)

Role Overview

• We are hiring an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC | MEP-BIM) to lead the design, BIM coordination, and delivery of Mechanical Building Services projects from concept to handover.
• The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in HVAC design, supported by working knowledge of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems, with proven experience in MEP Contracting and Design & Build projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC system design and engineering for commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, residential, and mixed-use developments.
• Perform cooling/heating load calculations and design HVAC systems including Chilled Water, VRF/VRV, DX, AHU, FCU, ventilation, and smoke management systems.
• Design and review Plumbing and Fire Protection systems in line with international standards.
• Develop and coordinate BIM models using Revit MEP and conduct clash detection using Navisworks.
• Prepare design documents including drawings, BOQs, technical reports, specifications, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Clients, Procurement, and Site teams.
• Lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and support value engineering initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid COREN registration (Mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years’ experience with a reputable MEP Contractor.
• Strong background in HVAC Design, with exposure to Plumbing & Fire Protection systems.
• Proven experience delivering Design & Build projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and HAP.
• Experience across commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, residential, logistics, or mixed-use projects.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC, CIBSE, and related international standards.

Salary
N600,000 - N800,000 monthly.
