We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections while monitoring budget performance and investigating variances.
• Supervise all accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Monitor liquidity, optimize working capital, oversee banking relationships, and ensure timely processing of payments and collections.
• Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements while implementing effective internal controls and coordinating audits.
• Conduct financial analysis, develop business cases and financial models, evaluate investments, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Identify financial risks, implement mitigation strategies, safeguard company assets, and monitor credit and financial exposure.
• Continuously improve finance processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency through automation and best practices.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate finance staff, set performance objectives, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights, support strategic planning, optimize resource allocation, and contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• Professional certification in ICAN, ACCA or equivalent is required.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, general ledger management, and regulatory compliance.
• Prior experience in an IT services environment is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP platforms).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modelling).
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and tax legislation.
