Grundtvig International Secondary School is a multi award-winning co-educational boarding school owned by the Grundtvig Movement of Nigeria, a non-governmental organisation committed to the development of “Education for Life” in Nigeria. The Board of Trustees of the Grundtvig Movement controls the operations of the school through the principal. The Grundtvig Movement is inspired by the Danish Education-for-Life philosopher Bishop N.F.S. Grundtvig (1783-1872) and our rich tradition. The Grundtvig International Secondary School won the 2020 Presidential Award as the Best Private Secondary School in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Music Teacher

Location: Oba, Anambra

Requirements

• Must possess a good First Degree (B.Ed, or B.Sc[Ed], B.Tech, B.Eng) in the respective discipline or related courses.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience
• Must be highly disciplined
• Must be computer literate 
• Must have knowledge of NECO and WAEC curricular.
• Must be a WAEC / NECO examiner.

Mandatory Skills requirement for:

• Ability to play and teach violin, and piano
• Ability to coordinate and conduct Brass Band
• Ability to coordinate, train and conduct a Choir and
• Ability to handle sound equipment
