Job Title: Graduate Trainee (Electrical, Mechanical, Mining & Metallurgical)

Position Overview

  • We are seeking highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Trainees in the fields of Electrical, Mechanical, Mining, and Metallurgical Engineering.
  • This program is designed to provide fresh graduates with hands-on industry exposure, structured training, and mentorship to develop technical expertise and leadership skills for future roles within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in structured training programs covering technical, operational, and safety aspects of engineering.
  • Assist senior engineers in planning, designing, and executing engineering projects.
  • Conduct research, data collection, and analysis to support ongoing operations.
  • Gain exposure to plant operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges.
  • Demonstrate initiative and innovation in applying engineering knowledge to practical problems.

Discipline - Specific Exposure Electrical Engineering:

  • Power generation, distribution, and control systems.
  • Maintenance of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
  • Energy efficiency and automation projects.

Mechanical Engineering:

  • Design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
  • Rotating equipment, HVAC, and manufacturing processes.
  • Reliability engineering and preventive maintenance.

Mining Engineering:

  • Mine planning, drilling, blasting, and ore extraction techniques.
  • Safety and environmental management in mining operations.
  • Exposure to mineral processing and resource estimation.

Metallurgical Engineering:

  • Metallurgical testing, analysis, and process optimization.
  • Materials characterization and failure analysis.
  • Smelting, refining, and alloy development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mining, or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with less than 2 years of experience.
  • Strong academic record and technical foundation.
  • Excellent problem - solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in challenging environments.
