We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Verification & Collections Team Lead

Location: Igbo Efon, Lekki - Lagos
Job Mode: Hybrid (3 days on-site)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field verification of borrowers, guarantors, businesses, and collateral.
• Oversee routine post-disbursement monitoring visits.
• Lead first-line collections efforts by following up on due and overdue repayments through calls and field visits.
• Escalate delinquent accounts where necessary.
• Ensure accurate field verification and monitoring reports.
• Identify and report potential fraud, operational risks, and early warning signs.

Requirements

• HND or B.Sc. in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or any related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' managerial experience in credit collections, debt recovery, field verification, or related roles in a lending or financial services environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in financial services, lending, or microfinance is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Lagos for field assignments.
• High level of integrity, diligence, and attention to detail.
