Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Ajah–Lekki Axis, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Nimojen Group is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Finance Manager to lead its finance function and support the organization's financial growth and operational excellence.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting expertise, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in financial management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting processes, financial controls, and reporting systems.
  • Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments, and other accounting journal entries.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Analyze monthly and quarterly financial performance and present insightful reports to Management and the Board.
  • Manage the end-to-end external audit process and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
  • Monitor working capital and prepare accurate cash flow forecasts.
  • Oversee payroll, tax compliance, VAT filings, and other statutory obligations.
  • Identify financial and operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) is mandatory.
  • Minimum of Six(6) years' relevant post-qualification experience in accounting and finance, with at least two (2) years in a managerial position.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and accounting software/ERP systems.
  • Proven experience in preparing statutory financial statements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage multi-million-naira budgets.
  • Experience managing annual external audits.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Applicants must reside within the Ajah–Lekki axis or its environs.
