We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project / Land Surveyor

Location: Bonny, Rivers

Description

• We are seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to oversee all field survey activities on our project site.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out alignments, fixing reference levels, conducting horizontal and vertical alignment checks, performing as-built and detail surveys, and establishing survey control points and benchmarks across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate setting out and level fixing in line with Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings
• Conduct verticality and alignment checks on columns, beams, slabs, and formworks prior to casting approval
• Perform detail and as-built surveys as required
• Coordinate survey control points and benchmarks at appropriate intervals
• Conduct volumetric analysis when needed
• Carry out routine checks on survey instruments and report deviations to the Head Surveyor
• Coordinate and supervise chainmen on site
• Promptly report discrepancies between setting out and AFC drawings
• Prepare and submit technical survey reports
• Participate in LMRA and uphold the company's HSE Goal Zero Policy at all times

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Surveying and Geoinformatics
• A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field is an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years Post graduate practical field experience in construction and engineering surveying.
