Job Summary

  • We are looking for a Production Team Intern who is hardworking, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. This internship offers a unique opportunity to receive hands-on training from experienced professionals in the furniture manufacturing industry while gaining practical experience in modern production processes.

What You Will Learn

  • Hands-on furniture production and manufacturing techniques.
  • Material preparation, moulding, casting, finishing, and quality control processes.
  • Safe and efficient use of production tools and equipment.
  • Production planning, workflow, and workshop best practices.
  • Professional standards for craftsmanship and product finishing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production and finishing of furniture and related products.
  • Support material preparation, mixing, moulding, casting, curing, sanding, and finishing processes.
  • Maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Ensure the workshop remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
  • Assist with product packaging, inventory handling, and preparation for delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets.
  • Carry out other production-related duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE qualification.
  • Degree or diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field is an added advantage but not compulsory.
  • A genuine willingness to learn and develop practical production skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work in a production environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Basic technical or production knowledge is an added advantage.
