Role Overview
- The Recruitment Business Partner is a pivotal role responsible for managing the end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle for our corporate and store support roles.
- This role blends strategic partnership with hiring managers and hands-on execution to attract, select, and onboard top talent that drives our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their unique recruitment needs, including position requirements, team dynamics, and the specific qualifications and skills needed for success.
- Develop and implement effective, tailored recruitment strategies and sourcing channels to build a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates for both corporate and retail operations roles.
- Provide expert guidance and support to hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and objective hiring decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, job boards, and professional networks to create a robust and sustainable talent pipeline.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle - from posting compelling job adverts and proactively sourcing candidates to conducting screenings, coordinating interviews, and making offers.
- Conduct thorough screening and assessment of applicants, including resume reviews, preliminary phone screenings, and competency-based interviews.
- Administer any required Cognitive Ability Tests (CBT) or other assessments.
- Coordinate the entire interview process: send invites, schedule interviews, and pre-employment medicals.
- Initiate and track background checks where necessary.
- Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience at every touchpoint, from initial application to onboarding.
- Prepare and extend formal offer letters, including negotiation of employment terms.
- Lead a seamless new hire onboarding and orientation process, ensuring new employees are integrated effectively and feel welcomed from day one.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to drive continuous improvement in our recruitment processes, tools, and employer branding initiatives.
- Collaborate with the broader HR team on employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns to enhance our position as an employee of choice in the modern retail space.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- CIPM or SHPRi Certification is Compulsory
- 5+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in management hiring (retail, corporate, or related sectors).
- Experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and HR databases.
- Strong sourcing & headhunting skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search).
- Excellent interviewing & assessment techniques (behavioral and competency-based).
- Knowledge of pre-employment testing (CBT, psychometrics, case studies).
- High organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple hires simultaneously.
- Understanding of employment laws & compliance.
