Job Title: Mechanical & HVAC Superintendent

Job Summary

• Development, delivery and assessment of Mechanical Maintenance (MM) training elements, including Specialist MM HES elements
• Developing and preparing MM Training Elements documentation for Cegelec [St Denis] certification.
• Site Authority for Mechanical training and work-related activities requiring a Permit To Work.
• Upkeep and maintenance of MM Practical Workshop, Equipment and Apparatus.
• Upkeep and maintenance of all specialist practical MM HES training equipment
• Weekly MM Team meeting
• Monthly facility inspection of MM Training Equipment.
• Coach the National Trainer in MM training

Prepare Mechanical Team Performance reports:

• Daily: MM trainee attendance, requested absence and medical absence record
• Weekly: MM trainee performance – exception reporting.
• Monthly: MM trainee performance report - progress against target.
• Monthly: MM training facility operations inspection, monitoring and performance report.
• Quarterly: MM training and facility performance and quality improvement report.
• MM Reference Library, CBT Training Library and any other Training Reference material.
• Developing or acquiring MM Learning Reinforcement posters in the facility.
• Coaching trainee teams conducting Task Based Risk Assessments for Practical MM Training.
• Actively facilitate Team Building Events.
• Design, preparation and management of Team Building Events
• Participate as facilitator (i.e. Referee) in Extra-Curricula and Sports activities.

Requirements

• A seasoned technical professional with a minimum of 12 years with an Oil & Gas multi-national Operator or Service Company as a responsible person in Mechanical Maintenance (minimum Supervisory level) and a minimum of 8 years active training experience in Mechanical Maintenance up to Engineering Level. 
• The Mechanical Senior Trainer-Coach will have the following attributes, training and qualifications: 
• Motivated trainer dedicated to developing trainee talent: knowledge, skill and personal performance. 
• Articulate communicator with excellent interpersonal and man-management skills. 
• Creative and innovative technical professional continually seeking new ways to affect technology transfer. 
• Oil & Gas mechanical maintenance, preferably covering both onshore and offshore facilities. 
• Broad spectrum of plant and process exposure. 
• Preferably with a recognized certificate or experience in competence assessment (to Level A1/V1).
