Job Title: Operations Analyst
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (3 days onsite)
About the Role
- We are looking to hire a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Analyst with 2–3 years of relevant experience to support our investment operations. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, adaptable, and excited about contributing to the growth of a dynamic asset management firm.
- You will play a key role in ensuring efficient trade processing, accurate reporting, and smooth day-to-day operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and monitor trades, ensuring timely and accurate settlement
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of portfolios and accounts
- Maintain and update client account records and documentation
- Handle corporate actions (dividends, bonus issues, etc.) and ensure proper allocation
- Liaise with custodians, brokers, and other counterparties to resolve issues
- Support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
- Assist with audits and provide necessary operational documentation
- Identify gaps in processes and contribute to building efficient operational systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2-3 years’ experience in operations within asset management, banking, or financial services
- Good understanding of investment operations and financial instruments
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month.
